Meet the Facilitators

Kip & Candy Wilbanks

Kip and Candy Wilbanks are passionate about building strong marriages and have been teaching The Marriage Course for many years. They have received numerous testimonies from past attendees about how the course has positively impacted and strengthened their relationships, and they are confident it will do the same for you. Their past attendees represent all stages of marriage—newlyweds, couples celebrating 50-year anniversaries, those in great marriages, and those facing challenges. No matter the current state of a marriage, everyone must continue to invest in their relationship to avoid drifting apart. As they often say, “If we’re not intentional, we tend to drift apart, not towards each other.”

With over 25 years of experience leading married small groups, Kip and Candy have stood shoulder to shoulder with couples navigating the peaks and valleys of marriage and family life. They champion a “no topic off the table” approach to group discussions, bravely addressing tough conversations in a Christian context that is both refreshing and impactful.

Married for 34 years, Kip and Candy have have three grown children, two wonderful daughter-in-loves, and two grandchildren. They have raised their family in the Cherokee community and are proud to be multi-generational Cherokee County residents.
